Call for Papers

The organisers of Engine Expo, Novi, Michigan 2018 are now calling for key speakers from all leading OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers, suppliers, research institutions from the world’s leading experts in powertrain design, development, manufacture, logistics, and marketing to propose suitable presentations for inclusion in the 2018 Open Technology Forum, which will run for three days alongside the exhibition.

Key speakers and presentations are a regular feature at this event. This year presentations must offer an insight into new product design and service innovations and technological developments, or be based on an application story working within one or more of the session categories proposed for discussion below.

Sessions in 2018 will provisionally include:

  • Advanced engine design, test and development
  • Forced-induction technologies
  • Advanced injection systems
  • Emission-reducing technologies
  • High-performance engines
  • 48V mild-hybrid solutions
  • Variable compression technology
  • Real Driving Emissions and emissions testing
  • Simulation and model-based development
  • Weight reduction
  • Increasing electrification

New Session For 2018 – Engine Production and Manufacturing.

Topics covered will include: engine casting and forging tools and technologies, lightweight engine materials, and engine component manufacturing equipment.
