To help quickly produce prototypes, A.A. Modelleria uses 3D printing, which allows for tool-free high volume production of furanic molds and cores, in just a few hours. There are almost no limitations to complexity and size of printed geometries. The molds and cores can be used for the pouring of ferrous as well as non-ferrous castings.
Selective laser sintering enables the company to produce extremely fragile cores in Croning sand and takes just a few hours. The sintered cores are approved for the use in ferrous and non-ferrous castings.
The rapid prototyping methods run through an internal quality control system which is ISO 9001 certified. Quality control includes Dimensional Control of Raw and Machined Castings, Leakage Testing, X-Ray Scanning, Tensile and Hardness Testing and Chemical Analysis.
Together with certified laboratories in Europe, it can also perform further quality checks, such as micrographics and evaluation.
A.A. Modelleria offers single piece production as well as supply of small casting series’ in raw, machined or assembled states. In addition, it is able to serve foundries with core boxes, molding patterns, sintered as well as printed molds and cores, which provide unique opportunities.
